Prof. Shanxiong Chen

Shanxiong Chen is a Professor at Southwest University, China. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Application Technology and is a Master's supervisor and a Visiting Scholar at the University of South Australia, Australia. He is a member of the China Computer Federation (CCF) and IEEE, a Young Member of the Technical Committee on Knowledge Engineering and Distributed Intelligence (CCF), a member of the China Society of Image and Graphics (CSIG), and a Review Expert for the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation.He has presided over and participated in multiple projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Key Projects of the Chongqing Natural Science Foundation, and the 863 Program. He has published over 40 papers in domestic and international journals such as IEEE Computer Graphics and Applications and Applied Intelligence, and has applied for and been granted more than ten invention patents.His research mainly focuses on data mining and pattern recognition, primarily using deep learning theories and technologies to study natural scene text and medical images.

Prof. Rui Dang

Rui Dang is an Associate Professor at Chengdu Technological University, China. He holds a Master's degree in Software Engineering and was a Visiting Scholar at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He currently serves as Vice President of the Chengdu Animation and Game Association, Council Member of the Sichuan Graphic Designers Association, Member of the Southwest Branch of the User Experience Professionals Association (UXPA) China, and Member of the China Computer Federation (CCF).He has presided over three projects, including the Ministry of Education's "University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education System and Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base Construction Project" and "VR University-Enterprise Joint Laboratory". He has also presided over or participated in five projects, including the "Digital Intelligence Design Sichuan Provincial Off-Campus Practice Education Base for College Students", the "Sichuan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism Key Laboratory of Intelligent Processing and Integrated Application Technology for Cultural Communication", and the "Construction of University Converged Media Centers in the New Era and Pilot Reform of Collaborative Education".He is responsible for the application and construction of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Specialized, Refined, Distinctive and Innovative Modern Industry College and the Sichuan Provincial Modern Industry College — Smart Media and Software Industry College, and was awarded the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Outstanding Entrepreneurship Incubation Base. He participated in the formulation of the "Specifications for Domestic Construction of Intelligent Communication Systems" by the China International Science and Technology Promotion Association and has published more than ten papers.He received the Second Prize of the 2025 Sichuan Provincial Teaching Achievement Award and the title of "Navigation Master Teacher" from the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education. In academic competitions, he serves as the National Executive Deputy Secretary-General of the "National College Student Digital Media Technology Works and Creative Competition" of the Ministry of Education and has received more than 20 national and provincial-level Outstanding Instructor awards.
